2010 Annual Members' Show "Reflection"
Graciously Underwrittem by Jim & Lois Richmond
May 7 - June 20
Opening Reception - Friday, May 7, 5-7pm
The Annual Members’ Show is one of our biggest and most popular exhibits and we look forward to the membership’s involvement generated by the show. This year’s theme is “Reflection”, and members may enter their work, themed or otherwise. Themed pieces will adorn the lower gallery while all works submitted that are non-themed will be displayed in the upper gallery. Exhibition committee members are looking forward the varied interpretations of the theme not to mention the range of media represented. If you are interested in participating, but are not yet a member, it is not too late to become a member and enter the Members’ Show. Applications are available on our website and at the SHCA.
Purchase Awards are available for those interested. A person or organization can pledge to buy artwork at a certain amount from the exhibit. Recognition for pledges will be included in all the publicity for the event, posted in the lobby during the exhibit and given a title card next to the chosen piece. This entitles them to view the exhibit and make a selection before the exhibit opens to the public. If you want to make a pledge please call the Art Center today.
